Tmarshal encountered challenges very early in adolescence, but was determined not to concede to a life of victimization and statistics. Discovering an ability to acclimate to diverse environments, she was able to make transitions less weary. As a former court ward, Tmarshal has experiences of abuse, homelessness, poverty and infestations. Her unyielding faith and perseverance proved to be the ultimate defense against a life doomed for destitution and deprivation.
As a young adult, Tmarshal was able to turn her life around unleashing the power to achieve her goals and strive towards a more enriched existence. Limiting internal and external limitations due to racial, gender and financial strains, Tmarshal received a degree in engineering and took pursuit towards a Masters degree in Business Administration.
After working for several top companies in the automotive industry as an engineer and in marketing and sales, Tmarshal transitioned to break boundaries in the public speaking and training industry. Taking her speaking career to greater heights, she has received tutelage and guidance from some of the greats in the industry. Mentors include Les Brown – World Renowned Motivational Speaker and Author.
